The sample shows a Valentine’s card. You will make a book celebrating the theme of your choice. You will not be making the sample. So choose paper, stamps, embellishments, etc. for your theme. Cheryl will be teaching the basic structure of the book card.

You will use card stock or design paper:

1 @ 11” x 7.5” for book cover

2 @ 7.5” x 5”

2 @ 7.5” x 7”

1 @ 4.75” x 6.75” for inside background (dictionary page on sample)

1 @ 5” x 7” for front panel (embossed on sample)

1 @ 5” x 7” for inside book cover

1 @ 2 3/8” x 2 ¾”  darker color for the back of the sentiment on the front of the card

1 @ 2 1/8” x 2 ½” for the sentiment on the front of the card

If you are stamping the girl, you will need a 2.75” x 6” piece to fussy cut after stamping.

1 @ 4.5” x 1” for the ribbon sentiment

Paper to punch for the border of the inside of the book

Paper cutter and other usual supplies
